Hearthstone Naxxramas Reveals Continue

Curse of Naxxramas, the first Adventure mode content to come to Blizzard’s Hearthstone, is expected to arrive this summer. Blizzard has continued to tease the set by revealing cards slowly. Today, the big reveal is a new Mage secret – Duplicate!

When two Leper Gnomes just isn’t enough, there’s Duplicate. Let’s not even talk about the Mana Wyrms.

Also recently revealed is the Shaman card Rebirth, which will allow players to take advantage of a variety of cards that already exist and the pile of deathrattle cards found in Naxxramas.

It is wise of you to choose Hearthstone Legend Rank at this site if you are a fan of Hearthstone.

Basic Test on Hearthstone Card’s Value

Sometimes when you watch professional Hearthstone players talking about “value”, or “this card is valuable” and the like, you may be hard to understand what they mean, and how to judge a card is valuable or not.

The most obvious feature of Hearthstone’s entourage is its value. Any followers have three numbers, which are attack, blood volume and mana cost. The most important and prior factor determines a card’s value is that its value is worth the consumption. At the present, the typical feature is that the mana cost is 2:1.

For example, if a follower cost 3 mana, the card should at least have 6 numerical (regardless of life or attact) to meet the consumption. We usually call this “basic testing”. Because the card’s text is always ignored, its numerical is considered to be the basic (or basis) state.

If a follower pass the basic test, it is valuable for us, not vice versa. Those test cards that have passed the basic test by 2:1 ratio will be thought to be of high value, because they have more than average value under the same consumption. That’s why people always prefer Chillwind Yeti who have 9 numerical (4/5), but only cost 4 mana.

Catch Last Chance to Get The Black Temple-themed Card Back

Season 2 of ranked play in Hearthstone will come to a conclusion at the end of this month. The reward for participation in season 2 is the Black Temple-themed card back, seen above. You only need to hit rank 20 before June 1 to earn the skin, a relatively easy feat for most players -- losses don't cause you to lose ranking until you've surpassed rank 20.

The top players of the season may qualify to compete in the Americas Qualifier Tournament, the winners of which will move on to compete at BlizzCon. Hearthstone Legend Rank can be found at this site!

Mage – Deal 16 Damage At Turn 2

The Mage deals 16 damage at turn 2 is really aggressive.  Here we will offer you a perfect game starting of Mage, check the screenshot below!

The Mage is going second, so the process is as follows:

1. Mage play Mana Wymn at the first turn;

2. Warlock use Hero Power;

3. At the second turn, Mage play the combo: Sorcerer's Apprentice + The Coin + Frostbolt + 2*Ice Lance, so the Mana Wymn becomes 5/3, therefore the Mage can deal 16 damage in this turn.

Well, since the Mage got this perfect starting, I guess the Warlock is dead meat, there is no way to turn the table, what do you think?

Count How Many Cards You Have on Hand Quickly

Counting every single card would be an annoying thing for everyone, especially when you are playing handlock style or Miracle Rogue and you should always keep your eye on the cards held in your hand to prevent them from being discarded. Recently, a Hearthstone fan shared a sparking idea to help you count cards in hand quickly. Details are shown below:

Case 10 cards: Look at the left card of your hand. Only if you have 10 cards the mana symbol of that card is below the board.

Case 9 cards: Look at the triangle formed by the left bottom corner of your hero and the two mana symbols of the cards below it.

Case 8 cards: Look at the line between the left bottom corner of your hero and the mana symbol of the card below it.

Case 7 cards: should not be a problem to find out. Don’t count, just see it.

New Rebirth Card Unveiled On May 22

The latest card revealed from Hearthstone's upcoming Curse of Naxxramas set is a new shaman spell: Rebirth. Rebirth destroys a minion before returning it to full health, a spell that will play well with the myriad of new minions with Deathrattle. Rebirth turns any minion's Deathrattle into an on-demand ability for 2 mana -- and puts it back onto the field to be used again. Rebirth could be a terrifying spell even with pre-existing Deathrattle minions such as the Abomination or Sylvanas Windrunner. It could also be used aggressively -- for example, against someone who made the mistake of playing the previously-revealed Anub'ar Ambusher. By destroying your opponent's Ambusher, you could potentially force a far more dangerous minion back into their hand as a delay tactic.

Some of the current mechanics surrounding the way resurrections work (such as with Redemption) means this spell could even be used as a Silence effect. Buffs that have been cast on a minion do not reapply after death, meaning you can easily knock a druid's superpowered tank down to size. It should also be noted that Battlecry effects only apply when a minion is played directly from the hand -- resurrecting it with Rebirth is unlikely to allow that Battlecry to happen a second time.

Some players have voiced concern regarding this card's potential synergy with legendary Leeroy Jenkins. Leeroy is an extremely powerful card right now, particularly in decks that find ways to play it multiple times in a row. A rogue with a pair of Shadowsteps in their hand can attack with Leeroy three times in one turn -- 18 direct damage. More if they have Cold Blood in their hand. A shaman with Rebirth, if Leeroy's Charge ability triggers after resurrection, could now perform the same tactic.
